Songara Chauhans of Bagra adopted Jainism and became oswals.  Their gotra was named Bagrecha.

 

Amipal Bagrecha was the Diwan of Sirohi state in the 17th century. The Maharaja of Marwar called him; hence he came to Jodhpur as Diwan.

 

Bagrecha Manakchand of Jaisalmer built a Jain temple of Lord Parashvanath at Brahmsar.
