Shri Suswani Mataji, Morkhana
Kuldevi Suswani Mata was the virgine daughter of a Surana of a Nagor. She was very beautiful and Nawab of Nagor heard about her and fell in love with her . He asked for but the father said that the girl was an incarnation of the Mata Ambe and it was not in his power to bestow her on any body. The nawab got angry and threatned to obtain her by force.
Suswani agreed to mary him with the condition that she will
stand 20 feet in distance of the nawab catch her then she will marry in
the morning as per the condition she started running on foot and Nawab on the
horse but he could no catch upto Morkhan village there she went to a small
shrine Mahadeva(lord Shiva) immediately a lioness appeared on which she mounted
and entered in the Kera tree . There she was entered into the earth The chasm
which has opened in the earth close up again.
In the night Suswani came in the dream of her parents told
that Suswani Mata is the kuldevi of Surana,s and it's subgotra.
Hence they should built a temple and who will have faith in her then she will fulfill there desire
At that place Surana's built a temple before v.s. 1229 for her devotee to worship.
