Mr. Bhandari, who is an international expert on foreign trade of over 46 years standing, has been since 1994 working as Chief Consultant to the Global Traders Conference (GTC), Geneva, Switzerland, as also Senior Consultant in the International Trade Centre UNTAD ? WHO (ITS), Geneva, Switzerland. Mr. Bhandari has also worked an external consultant to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNTAD), Geneva, Switzerland, the World Bank, USA, Helsinki School of Economics’ Trade Development Institute (PRODEC), Finland, the International management Institute (RVB), Maastricht, The Netherlands, The Commonwealth Secretariat and pother international organizations, He has the unique experience of having worked in private sector, government and international organizations, as elaborated above. Mr. Bhandari has been the author of several articles
on international trade and has been the faculty members of the
Administrative Staff College, Hyderabad, India. While working for the
Government of India and the United nations, he has attended several
international conferences and
has been responsible for organizing hundreds of training programmes on
various aspects of foreign trade including WTO aspects in which he also
participated as principal speaker and resource person. Mr. Bhandari has traveled extensively throughout the
globe covering more than 120 countries in all the six continents and
visited some countries several times. His frequent missions have given him
rare and unmatched experience of ground realities in developing countries
for proposing suitable policy options and practical measures for
strengthening and stimulation growth and development of their foreign
trade.
