Bhabhuji Rathi was the treasurer in the state of Ratanpur. One day a cobra bit the king. Acharya Shri Jindutta Suri cured him by means of Mantras, Bhabhuji was impressd with the Acharyaji and converted himself to the Oswal creed. His gotra was named Bhabhu. There are many families of Bhabhu residing in Punjab and Haryana these days. This gotra Bhabhu is found in Bafna, Parakh and in Daga gotras. Kuldevi of Bhabhu Bafna and Parakh is Sachyaya Mata of Osiyan. Kuldevi of Bhabhu Daga is Ashapura Mata.

He took active part in the rejuvenation of the old jain temples. He had a good knpwledge of Hindi, Urdu, Farsi and English. He edited ‘Shri Atmanand Jain’ a Monthly magazine for many years. He also published many books, sch as ‘Murti-Mandal’, ‘Chicago questionaire’ He remained Secretary of All India Kain Swetamber Conference for years.
In V. 1970 he settled at Delhi. And looked to the management of the Hastinapur Tirth. He played very important role in uniting all the Oswals of India by extending marriage proposals to distant living families. Till that time Punjabi Oswals were not married to Marwaris, but he gave in marriage his Punjabi son to a Marwari girl of Delhi. After that many Punjabi families resideing in Gujranawala, Jammu, Ludhiana, Hoshiyarpur Ambala etc. created marriage relations with the Marwari families.
Bhabhu Lala Nemidas - Ambala
He was the youngest son of Lala Jagtumal. He was born in V. 1961. He was honorary secretary of Atmanand Jain Sabha of Punjab and Executive member of Jain High School, Ambala, Gujranawala Gurukul Committee, and Hastinapur Tirth Committee. He was the Director of Ambala Chamber of Commerce, and Shakti Insurance Company. He was the President of Jain Reading Room and Manager of Jagtumal Jain Ausdhalaya.
