Golechha


Golechha gotra is a sub-gotra of aadityanag or Choradia Gotyra. According to Mahajanvansh Muktavali there once upon a time lived Gelaji Choradia. His son was Bachhaji. The family of Bachhaji was named Gel-Bachha. This word Gelbachha became corrupt and became Golchha or Golechha or Gulechha.

 

Acharya Shri Gyanmalji Maharaja

            He was born in V.1860 at Setrava. His father was Shri Joravarmalji Golechha. He got Diksha from Acharya Shri Jeetmal ji Maharaj on Pos Krashna 3rd 1869 at Jodhpur. He became Acharya in V. 1913. He expired in V. 1930 at Jalore.

 

Muni Dr. Shri Rajendra Muniji Maharaj

            He was born on 1-01-1954. He is the youngest brother of Muni shri Rameshmuni ji Maharaj. He got Diksha on 15-03-1965 from Acharya shri Devendramuni ji Maharaj at Gad Sivana. He passed Shastri, Kavyatirth, Sahitya Ratna, Jain Sidhantacharya and M.a. He secured the Degree of Ph.d. from Agra University. He wrote many books.

 

Golechha Shri Moolchand – Dhamtari (C.G.)

            He was born on 01-08-1933. He is the trustee of Kevalyadham Teerth. He was the president of Murtipujak Sangh Dhamtari and member of Murtipujak Sangh Maharashtra.

 

Golechha Seth Nathmal-Jaipur

            The native place of this family was Khichha Seth Ratanchand, of this family had been the treasurer of Jaipur State for nearly 30 years. His son Nathmalji was appointed Diwan of Jaipur in V.1958. Maharaja Sawai Ramsinghji and Maharaja Madhosinghji were pleased with him. A Katla and a Crossing are named after him. (Nathmalji Ka Katla and Nathmalji Ka Choraha)

 

Golechha Shri Manakchandji – Jaipur

            The origin of this family is from Bikaner. Shri Manakchandji was Pradhan of Jaipur.

 

Golchha Jeetmalji – Gwalior

            This family is a part of Golechha family of Jaipur. Seth Dhirajmalji settled at Gwalior. His son Jeetmalji was the Treasurer of Gwalior State. He also had been Treasurer of Dholpur from V. 1920 to 1922.

           

Golechha Shri Nathmalji – Gwalior

            He was son of Shri Jeetmalji. He was also Treasurer of the state of Datia. The ruler of Datiya honoured him. He was President of Chamber of Commerce of Gwalior. He suffered a lot in his old age. Someone poisoned the ears of the king of Gwalior, so king put him down in prison where he died at the age of 72.

 

Golechha Baghmalji – Amzera

            He was son of Gulechha Nathmalji of Gwalior. He had been the Treasurar of Amzera for 15 years. The Viceroy of India, Lord Chemsford made him the counselor of Saint John ambulance Association. He was named in the Royal court with the name of ‘Rajman Raje Shriseth Baghmalji’.

 

Golchha Seth Phoolchandji – Phalodi

            He was a businessman of Gold and Jewellery. He gave donations in the rejuvenation of Osiyan and Kulpak pilgrimages.

 

Golechha Shri Champalal – Madras

            He was resident of Khichan. Maharaja of Jodhpur honoured with gold Kada and Siropav for his heavy donation in the building of Umed Hospital of Jodhpur. He also built ‘Sujan Sagar’ a beautiful big, garden, tank at Khichhan.

 

Golechh Seth Sidhkaranji – Chanda

            His original residence was Bikaner. Seth Amarchand Golechha arrived at Nagpur. On the request of Gour King he settled at Chandrapur. His grand son Sidhkaran built a Jain temple and  a Dharmshala at Bhadank. His son Golechha Chainkaran is the President of Bhadank Tirth and member of municipality of Chandrapur.

 

Golechha Shri Shobhagmalji

            He was born in V. 1931. He created Jain Swetamber Mitra mandal in Phalodi in V. 1963. He was member of Municipal Board from 1915 to 1932. He played an important role in the establishment of Rail, Telegraph office, Schools and Municipal Board in Phalodi. He was Joint Secretary of Phalodi Panjarapole, and singh Sabha Phalodi.

 

Golchha Seth Ramlal

            He was born in 1900 at Navabganj (Bangladesh) in a middle class family. He was not much educated. He got married at the age of 15 years. He lost his parents at the age of 17 years of age. The burden of whole family fell on his shoulders. He left Nawabganj and settled at Sunderganj and started Jute business. After a few years he opened his branch office at Farbisganj. He entered Nepal in 1926 and started business at Viratnagar. Here he earned a lot At that time Viratnagar was a backword jungle area. There he started purchasing jute from Viratnagar and sell it in the Calcutta market. He became successful and simultaneously Viratnagar became a prosperous city. He started Ragunath Jute Mill at Viratnagar in 1942 with the Co-operation of the king of Nepal. In 1959 he established Himalayas Jute press at Viratnagar. Here he started exporting Jute. He was the first exporter of Nepal. He became known by the name of ‘Nepal Jute King’.

            In 1963 he established an automatic rice Mill in Viratnagar. Still today it is the biggest Rice mill of Nepal. At the same time he also established one Stainless Steel factory, which fulfilled the demand of Nepal and also exported the product to the other countries.

            King of Nepal honoured him for his grand services for Nepal in the year V. 2020 with the title of ‘Praval Gorkha Dakshin Bahu’ His son shri Hansrajji was also honoured by Nepal Government in V. 2042.

            He donated lakhs of rupees for the publication of Jain literature.

 

Gulechha Seth Mangilal Tilakchand – Amalner

                        He is President of Panjarapol Amalner, and Ichhapurti Mata Mandir. Treasurer of Dadaguru Mandal and Secretary of Vishva Hindu Parishad A,alner district.

 

Golechha Shri Milapchand Jograj – Ahmadabad

            He was born on 26th June, 1934. He has been member of Anandji Kalyanji Pedhi of Phalodi for the last 15 years. He donated in the construction of 10 temple and 6 Dadavadies.

 

Gulechha Dr. Prakash Gyanchand – Jaipur

            He is specialist in the treatment of ear, nose and throat diseases. He have his services in 600 camps of free treatment at Rajasthan, U.P., Haryana, Gauhati and Mumbai. In this way, he had treated more than 2 lakhs of patients. Municipal Corporation international Club etc. honoured him for his services. His grandfather was a courtier in Jaipur State.

 

Golechha Shri Sajjanraj – Pali

            He was born on 09-02-1955. He has been the Secretary of shri Vardhman Sthanakvasi Shrvak Sangh Pali for last 4 years. He is Secretary of Lions Club Pali. He has been Trustee of shri Marudhar Keshari Jain Smrati Trust, Pali for last 12 years.

 

Golechha Shri Suresh – Khichan

            He was born on 17-07-1944. He had been Sarpanch of Khichan Panchayat from 1989 to 1992. He is an active member of congress party. At present his wife smt. Nirmaladevi is the Sarpunch of Khichan.

 

Holechha Shri Madanlal – Balesar

            He is an active member of Congress committee Balesar. He is the President of Krashna Seva Samiti Balesar. He is very much interested in the service of old, disabled, sand needy persons. For his social service the pradhan of Balesar honoured him in 2002.

Golechha shri Mangilal Jain – Amlner

            He was born on 17th July 1970. He is connected with the Mangilal Tilokcjand Jain Goushala, Ichhapurti shri Durgamata temple of Amalner.

 

Golechha Seth Nathmal – Jaipur
