Maheshwari Mundra Hathi Shah was Diwan of Mulatan of Sindh Province. He was very dear and famous person of the public. His son was Luna Shah. He was very brilient. Whe  Lunashah was of 20 years of age, a snake bit him on Akshay tritia of V. 1112.

Dead body of Lunashah was carried towards cremation ground in a procession. Wife of Lunashah was also going with them to burn herself with her husband. By chance Acharya Shri Jindutta Suri was entering the city gates at that time. Hathishah request the Acharya for his misfourtune. Acharya said, “What can you do if Luna be alive again?” Hathishah replied that he can do any thing if he alives. Acharya Shri ordered them to convert into Oswal Jain Hathishah accepted the proposal.

Acharya Shri ordered to fix a tent and bring the same bed on which Luna and his wife were sleeping. Arrangements were made. Dead body of Lunashah put do   wn on the bed. Then Acharya ordered the princes to sleep with the dead body. Acharya uttered some Montras. Immediately that snake appeared. Acharya ordered the snake to take off the total poison. Snake obeyed the orders of the Acharya. Every body was pleased. The family of Lunashah named ‘Lunia’ from that day.

 

Acharya Shri Sabaldasji

           

He was born in V. 1828 at Pokran. His Father was Shri Anand Rajji Lunia. He got Diksha Acharya Shri Askaranji Maharaj in V.1842. He became Acharya in 1882 and expired in V.1903.

              

Lunia Seth Tilokchandji – Ajmer

           

He managed a Sangh from Ajmer to Shatrunjaya. In this Sangh there were thousands if Shravaks, hundreds of Jain Monks, and a grand army. At that time there was a great disturbance of Angarshah Peer on the Satrunjaya Hills. He had continued the pilgrimage first. He pleased the Peer. Still today every year Lunia family Spred a valuable cloth cover over the dom of the Peer Sahib.

 

Lunia Diwan Bahadur Thanmalji – Hyderabad

           

He was born on Asoj Shukla 13th 1907. In V. 1933 he went to Hyderabad from Ajmer for some work but settled there. In a short time he became very rich person. Nizam of Hyderabad was pleased with him. In 1913 Nizam honoured him with the title of ‘Raja Bahadur’ and gave many fesilities to him. In the title of ‘Rai Bahadur’ and in 1919 again he was awarded the title of ‘Diwan Bahadur’ Maharaja Bikaner, Jodhpur, Mysore, Bhopal and Indore all time to time honoured him. He had a seat in the Delhi Darbar.

           

He was a religious also. In Keshariyaji he built a Jain temple of Mallinathji and a Dharmshala. He build Dadavadi road in Hyderabad. After his death according to his testament a grand Dharmshala was built in Hyderabad. He had 4 sons but all the four expired in his life time.

 

Lunia Shri Ashokumar – Raipur

           

Shri Ashokkumar born on 05-10-1961. He is son of Shri. Manaklal Lunia. He passed B.Com. IIB. From Raipur. He had been public prosecutor from 1994 to 1997, and joined judicial services (Judge) on 1997. Now he is Civil judge Class 1st at Durg.

 

Lunia Ashokkumar Manaklal – Kawardha (C.G.)

           

He was born on 05-10-1961. He passed B.Com., LL.B. from Raipur and became public Prosecutor (1994-1997). Now he is Civil Judge Class I at Durg (Chhatisgarh).

 

Lunia Shri Suganchandji AND Indermalji – Hyderabad

           

He was son of Diwan Bahadur Thanmalji. He was honourary Secretary of Nizam State. He had no son so Thanmalji adopted Lunia Indermalji on his name. Indermalji built a Dharmshala in Hyderabad in the memory of his Grand Father Thanmalji

 

Lunia Seth Ramlalji – Ajmer

           

His ancestor Shivrasmji was ‘Nagar Seth’ of Phalodi. He started his business at Ajmer. He was welknown Sarraf of Ajmer. He was the treasurer of Oswal High School and Girls Schools.

 

Lunia Shri Jeetmal – Ajmer

           

He was born on 15-11-1895 at Ajmer. He studied upto M.A. He started publishing of ‘Malav Mayur’ with the colobration of shri Harbhau Upadhyaya in 1914. He joined his services at Seth Shri Hukmichandji of Indore as his Private Secretary. He established ‘Hindi Sahitya Mandal’ in 1916 and transferred it to Banaras in 1922. He came in contact with Seth Jamnalal Bajaj 1924. In 1925 he returned back to Ajmer and opened Sasta Sahitya Mandal with the support of Birla and Bajaj. This became a very famous publication very soon. He was elected President of Congress Committee in 1930 Government of India declared this committee illegal. He was arrested and sent to Jail for one year regrous imprisonment. Afetr release he and his wife both took active part in the freedom struggle. So he, his wife Smt. Sardarkanwar, and his son Pratapsingh all sent to Jail. In 1933 he started Ajmer Seva Bhavan. He was also arrested when he took part in the eggitation of 1942. He was the President of welcome committee when Shri Jawaharlal Nehru came at Ajmer in 1938 and 1945. He hosted flag at Naya Bazar Ajmer on 15th August 1947 as he was the President of Congress Committee of Ajmer. He was elected President of Ajmer Municipal Corporation after independence.

 

Lunia Shri Shankarlali – Jodhpur

He is the President of Jodhpur Loda Sajjan Sangh and Jaimal Jain Shravask Sangh Jodhpur.
