Munhani Lala Thakurdas – Siyalkot (Pakistan)

He was born at Gujranvala in V. 1880. He was a scholor of Jainology. He remains unmarried. And took interest in reading and learning Jain Philosophy. Shri Dayanand SArswati the founder of Arya samaj, wrote ‘Satyarth Prakash’. In ‘Satyartha Prakash’ he baselessly criticized Jain religion. Acharya Vijayanand Suri replied to Dayanand by publishing ‘Agyan Timir Bhashkar’ and Acharya Ji also challenged SwamiDayanad SArswati calling upon himm for discussion. Lala Thakurdas had also, challenged Swamyji. He went to Lahore, Amritsar, Delhi and Jodhpur to follow him for the discussion, but he was dis-heartened to learn that Swamiji expired.
